PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for covering a laminated glass, with which plate glass is automatically covered with the intermediate film without causing wrinkle. SOLUTION: In the covering apparatus 10, the intermediate film 17A is chucked by chucking devices 45, 45 and the chucking devices are moved in the conveying direction of the plate glass 12. A slide table 46 is moved linked with the movement of the chucking devices 45, 45 in the direction opposed to the conveying direction of plate glass 12. The intermediate film 17A is conveyed while receiving the tension to smooth the wrinkle by the action and the plate glass 12 is covered with the intermediate film 17A. By using the covering device 10, a fresh wrinkle does not occur in covering the plate glass 12 with the the intermediate film 17A and even when the wrinkle occurs on the surface of the intermediate film 17A, the glass plate 12 is covered with the intermediate film 17A with the elimination of the wrinkle to the utmost.
