PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial vehicle capable of easily disengaging the fixation of a driver seat with the direction made changeable and easily changing over the seat position in compliance with the changing-over of the vehicle driving condition. SOLUTION: The industrial vehicle has a seat position changeover mechanism which changes over the direction of the driver seat 14 with the direction changeable to the forward facing position, right facing position, and left facing position and fixes the seat to the selected position. The seat position changeover mechanism is formed with a solenoid for locking for fixing the driver seat 14 to the selected position. A seat unlocking switch for releasing the fixed driver seat 14 by energizing the respective solenoids is mounted on a forward-reversing select lever 19 for changing over the vehicle motion between the forward advancing and reversing.
