<p>The control method uses a pressure regulator with a discharge valve (14) for controlling the compressor (3) of the pressurized air supply unit (1) and a regeneration valve (11) for controlling the regeneration air quantity, in accordance with the regeneration air requirement indicated by an electronic control (24), a warning device activated when a threshold value is exceeded. The pressure characteristic of the central air flow, downstream of a non-return valve (8), is detected upon initial operation of the pressurized air supply unit or after a given operating life, to allow correction of the required air quantity in the load phase and/or the regeneration phase dependent on the ratios of the pressure differences per unit of time.</p> |
