A posterior chamber lens implant (1) for the human eye replaces the natural lens in a capsular sack. The optical axis of the posterior chamber artificial lens is directed at the retina. Each lens has a rim with two sickle-shaped folding (27) extensions (5) terminating in feet (9) that locate the lens within the capsule.
