<p>The invention relates to a method for separating sheet bars from a sheet bar stack and to a device for separating sheet bars from a sheet bar stack by using means for holding a sheet bar stack and means for separating the sheet bars. The aim of the invention is to provide a method for separating sheet bars from a sheet bar stack, which enables sheet bars to be reliably and quickly removed from a sheet bar stack whereby resulting in lower manufacturing costs of the sheet bars. To this end, superposed partial areas of the sheet bars in the sheet bar stack are charged or polarized at least in part with an electric charge of the same sign after which the sheet bars are separated.</p> |
