A router (20, fig 1) comprises a base (24, fig 1), a motor housing (28, fig 1) supported by the base and defining a motor housing axis, and a handle 44A connected to at least one of the base and the motor housing, the handle defining a handle axis and having a grip portion extending generally along the handle axis, the handle axis being non-parallel to the motor housing axis. Preferably first and second D-shaped handles are provided, each having grip portions that extend along a serpentine curve.
