<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a re-stringing method that can be performed easily, without making wires contact each other, when crossing upper and lower wires, and that is safe and good in workability without the possibility of causing the wires to contact neighboring live lines. SOLUTION: In a method of re-stringing four lines of electric wires 4, spaced above and below and right and left, each end of which is fastened to a balance yoke 3 at the top end of an insulator 2 supported by an arm metal 1 of a pylon, many suspended metal wheels 5 of reversal type for two lines of existing up and down wires 4 to be replaced, are mounted. An arraying yoke 7 is mounted for every balance yoke 3 at both ends of the existing wires 4. New wires are placed with the two existing lower lines supported by the metal wheels 5. The new wires are mounted to the outside end part of each arraying yoke 7. With a gap between newly laid wires becoming widened, two lines of the existing upper wires 4 are loosened to rotate each suspended metal wheel 5 reversely. The existing wires are replaced by the new ones, with these two lines of the existing wires supported by each metal wheel 5.</p> |
