<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that fibers are repeatedly brought into various guides and abraded to produce fuzzes and broken fibers in a process for processing the fibers, while fiber-reinforced materials each comprising the fibers and a matrix resin such as an epoxy resin, an unsaturated polyester resin, or a phenolic resin are widely used, and to provide a bundling agent having a property to easily, thinly and thickly spread the fibers to obtain the processed product having a high quality. SOLUTION: This bundling agent for inorganic fibers is characterized by containing an ester of a carboxylic acid component comprising 5 to 100 wt.% of a dicarboxylic acid and 0 to 95 wt.% of a monocarboxylic acid with an alcohol component comprising the alkylene oxide adduct of castor oil and/or hydrogenated castor oil.</p> |
