METHOD OF TRANSMITTING HDLC-ORIENTED, BURST DATA VIA A TRANSMISSION CHANNEL

The invention relates to a method for the transmission of HDLC-oriented burst data (d) via a transparent transmission channel (TC), where the pulses (ET) of the HLDC-oriented data (ET) and those of the transmission channel (TC) are not synchronized. According to said method the start of the HDLC-oriented data (d) is determined and the successive data are sampled at the pulse rate (IT) of the transmission channel (TC). In case of large pulse variations a buffer storage (PS) is additionally provided for in which HDLC-oriented data (d) are temporarily stored for pulse compensation. As a result there is no need for separate pulse lines and pulse circuits.
