The correction method has the LF signal component filtered out from the signal provided by the slew rate sensor, with evaluation of the filtered signal monitored for verifying that a defined level is not exceeded over a given time interval, for allowing correction of the slew rate measuring device via the signal at the output of the slew rate sensor.
