The invention comprises an idler pulley, the pulley (90) having a web (8) an d a belt bearing surface (1) connected to the web (8). The web (8) is aligned with and affixed to an inner race (11) outer surface (12) of a bearing (20) by a fastener (3). The pulley (90) is stamped. formed or spun out of sheet metal and may have a central hole (17) described by a lip for alignment with a central axis of the bearing (20). The outer race (2) of the bearing (20) may be affixed to a mounting surface (5).
