A wringer for cleaning elements of wet or damp cleaning apparatus, including a liquid permeable receptacle which is fastenable by a holding frame to a container a nd in which a cleaning element can be wrung out by inserting it thereinto, whereby a cleaning eleme nt can be guided to the receptacle by an insertion funnel separate from the receptacle and fastenabl e to the mounting frame.
