PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector assembling tool capable of simplifying the structure and operation procedures. SOLUTION: The optical connector assembling tool 10 comprises a base 11 provided with a ferrule holding part 12 for holding a ferrule 1 freely attachably and detachably on one end of the base; a positioning member 21 for positioning the end surface of an optical fiber 3 inserted into an optical fiber insertion hole of the ferrule 1 by being abutted to the top end surface 5 of the ferrule 1 held by the ferrule holding part 12; a slider 13 which is attached to the base 11 so as to be slidable in the direction toward the ferrule holding part 12 while holding the positioning member 21; and an optical fiber insertion stand 31 which is rotatably attached to the base 11. Therein, an optical fiber guide groove 33 which is extended toward the ferrule holding part 12 is extendedly formed on the upper surface 32 of the optical fiber insertion stand 31 and the direction of the optical fiber guide groove 33 for the ferrule 1 is made changeable by the rotation of the optical fiber insertion stand 31.
