HEAT MEASURING SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase use efficiency of an I/O pin when the I/O pin is used by arranging a thermal diode, in heat measuring of an IC. SOLUTION: A temperature of the IC circuit is measured. A voltage across the thermal diode is generated. It is determined whether the voltage across the thermal diode exceeds a threshold value or not. The voltage is associated with a numerical level. By means of a voltage level sensor, C4 is prevented from using the input/output pin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
