PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay a lead wire of a heat exchange ventilator with a minimum length. SOLUTION: In this heat exchange ventilator, a square columnar heat exchanger 2 is incorporated sideways into the substantial center of a box body 1 of a hexahedron so as to be taken in and out by a guide rail with its diagonal line set in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction; and air blowers 7 and 8 are respectively incorporated into two rooms of four rooms of the box body 1 separated by this heat exchanger 2; to exchange heat by passing an exhaust air flow and a supply air flow by these two air blowers 7 and 8 through the heat exchanger 2. The lead wire 10 is laid as it is from a circuit box 9 arranged on the air blower 7 side in one of these air blowers 7 and 8, and in the other air blower 8, the lead wire 10 is laid from the circuit box 9 in a noninterference state with taking in and out of the heat exchanger 2 via a connecting structure of straddling one edge angle part 6 of the heat exchanger 2 arranged in the box body 1.
