PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article holding structure of a seat for a vehicle capable of holding an article without reducing sitting comfortableness of the seat. SOLUTION: In a lower part of the front face 32 of a seat back 3, a recessed part 36 is formed by recessing a back pad 34 and a facing 35 according to the shape and the thickness of a band 5. The band 5 is stored and mounted to the inside of the recessed part 36. This band 5 is extended laterally, the band 5 is stretched tightly, and the right and left ends are sewn and fixed to the facing 35 of the front face 32 of the seat back 3 so as to sandwich and hold an article such as a note or a binder between it and the front face 32 of the seat back 3.
