PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric filter showing a high removing performance per unit time when removing microparticles in a liquid. SOLUTION: In the nonwoven fabric filter, at least two nonwoven fabric filter elements having specific surface areas are alternatively arranged to form one unit, and at least two units are repeatedly stacked. In the nonwoven fabric filter element B (2) on the upstream side of water to be treated in a repeated unit, and a nonwoven fabric filter element A (1) on the downstream side adjacent thereto, the specific surface area of the nonwoven fabric filter element A (1) on the downstream side is≥2.0 times of that of the nonwoven fabric filter element B (2) on the adjacent upstream side.
