<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a more accurate and effective LCA, by easily and efficiently acquiring basic unit information (LCI data) whose acquisition has been difficult in a conventional LCA processing. <P>SOLUTION: A design support device 200 (department terminal 200) for designing products accumulates part information, LCI data, and classification information in a database. When the design support device 200 specifies parts selected on a CAD screen, it specifies the classification of the parts on part information. The design support device 200 further specifies classification on the LCI data corresponding to the specified classification, based on the classification information, and acquires the LCI data prescribed in the classification. The design support device 200 transmits the acquired LCI data to an LCA device 100 via a communication network 10 as environment load information at the procurement stage of the products.
