GAS HYDRATE TRANSPORT AND STORAGE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas hydrate transport and storage method easy in cargo handling by a pipe. SOLUTION: This method transports and stores a gas hydrate generated by reacting hydrocarbon gas such as methane and natural gas with water; and transports and stores the gas hydrate turned into slurry under atmospheric pressure by respectively holding the low temperature of a range of 5°C to the high temperature and low temperature side with -15°C to -10°C as the center by turning the gas hydrate (a) into the slurry by mixing with a slurry mother liquor (b) having a coefficient of kinematic viscosity of 0.5 to 5 cSt such as silicon oil and kerosene after being molded into a pellet shape.
