PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably specify and correct a color region even when white balance is adjusted by intentionally shifting a white point with respect to a pickup image signal. SOLUTION: An amplification gain setting part 161 changes the white point which is the reference of white balance adjustment based on the discriminated result of a photographing light source in accordance with designation from a white point specification part 162 and controls a WB amplifier 141 by a control value corresponding to a change in the white point. A color region setting part 163 changes a color region designated by a user's operation in accordance with the change of the white point by the amplification gain setting part 161 and sets the color region in a color region selection part 142. The color region selection part 142 extracts a pixel signal included in the set color region and a correction processing part 143 corrects the picture quality of the pixel signal.
