PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of preventing any breakage of display driving ICs and peeling of IC mounting substrates even when bending and deformation are applied to the substrates for image display which are a main body section of a display panel. SOLUTION: The display device includes the display panel 10 having: the substrate 11 for image display; the IC mounting substrates 14 and 17 which are arranged along the side edge on the outer side of the substrate for image display and are provided with display driving ICs 16 and 19 mounted thereon by face-down bonding; and substrate connecting parts 15 and 18 connecting them. The substrate connecting parts 15 and 18 have a smaller length than the IC mounting substrates 14 and 17 in the direction of extension of the side edge of the substrate 11 for image display connected with the substrate connecting parts 15 and 18.
