PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device capable of preventing at a low cost, a printed circuit board from being damaged. SOLUTION: A receptacle 1 is formed into a cylindrical form to allow a contact probe 2 to be inserted into its inside and to be held therein. The receptacle 1 is provided with fixing parts 1a for fixing the receptacle 1 onto a probe holding plate 3, and a support part 1b for supporting the contact probe 2 in a prescribed position inside the receptacle 1. The fixing parts 1a projected outsides are formed in a plurality of portions in the receptacle 1 by a dimple work or the like. The support part 1b protruded insides is formed in at least one portion of the receptacle 1 by dimple work or the like. The support part 1b is formed to deform its shape, when a prescribed value or more of load is applied from the contact probe 2 (sleeve 2a), by imparting the prescribed value (about 4-7 kg) or more of load onto the contact probe 2.
