PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain conveyor cutter having excellent performance in conveying out sediment or the like. SOLUTION: This device comprises a driving part 1 for generating driving force and transmitting the generated driving force to a chain; a return part 2 turning the chain 37 around to excavate underground with a plurality of bits; and a post part 3 connecting the driving part and the return part and supporting the chain in a circulable manner. The post part has a post body 31; a side plate 34 fixed to the post body and facing parallel with an opposite face provided with a bit 43 of a bit plate 42; and a pair of partition walls 36 provided projecting toward the bit plate from the side plate to form a surrounded space held by the bit plate and the side plate. The chain is guided to move in the surrounded space, and a scraper 39 for raking up sediment in the surrounded space is mounted to the chain. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
