CRUCIBLE FOR GROWING CALCIUM FLUORIDE CRYSTAL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING CALCIUM FLUORIDE CRYSTAL, AND CALCIUM FLUORIDE CRYSTAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crucible for growing a calcium fluoride crystal, with which a calcium fluoride single crystal can be surely grown by preventing polycrystallization, and to provide a method for producing the calcium fluoride crystal, and the calcium fluoride crystal. SOLUTION: The crucible is used for growing the calcium fluoride crystal along the crystal surface of a seed by melting calcium fluoride and cooling molten calcium fluoride. The crucible for growing the calcium fluoride crystal is characterized in that the inner surface is constituted of aluminum nitride (AlN) and the contact angle of a water droplet and the inner surface of the crucible is≤150°.
