PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin printed-circuit board high in flatness, in which conduction holes stable in positional and dimensional accuracy can be surely formed, a glass cloth from which the printed-circuit board can be manufactured, and glass roving used as stock yarn of the glass cloth. SOLUTION: The glass roving is characterized in that the electrostatic charge amount is≤10 kV and the opening rate of chopped strand becomes≥40% when the glass roving is cut into the chopped strand having a length of 2 in by a drum cutter, and the amount of generating fluff is≤50 mg when the unwound strand is allowed to travel at a speed of 300 m/min and squeezing is applied by a tension bar. The glass cloth is obtained by weaving such glass roving. The printed-circuit board is constituted by using the glass cloth as a base material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
