PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper post-processing device with a cutter for cutting edge portions of booklets subjected to middle folding, achieving stabilized bending correction of the booklets which are carried to the cutter and a simplified booklet carrying mechanism. SOLUTION: The paper post-processing device for giving post-processing to the booklets each consisting of a bunch of broken paper comprises a detecting means for detecting the ends of the booklets, a moving means for carrying the booklets with movement, a control means for controlling the movement of the moving means, the cutter for cutting the edge portions of the booklets carried to a cutting position by the moving means. The control means controls the movement of the moving means from a position where the detecting means detects the ends of the booklets to the cutting position to make the sizes of the booklets constant in paper sizes after cut.
