PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding conveyor for feeding works into the next stage of a process at a constant interval. SOLUTION: The sliding conveyor comprises a number of fixed blades 2 arranged in an obliquely upward stepwise manner and a number of moving blades 3 arranged therebetween for moving up and down along the fixed blade 2. The upper face of at least uppermost moving blade 3 is inclined to one direction, and the works W are positioned on steps 6 provided thereon. Thus, the plurality of works W can be dropped on a final bucket 5 at a constant timing and pitch. It is desirable that at least one fixed or moving blade 2 or 3 at the lower step has an inclined face 8 inclined to both ends for right and left sorting operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
