<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a percolator that can control the amount of the supply of hot water with high precision with an inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: This percolator is provided with a water container 1 which contains water, a heating means 4 which heats the water derived from the water container 1, a hot water supplying means 3 which supplies hot water that is heated by the heating means 4, a brew chamber 6 which brews coffee, etc., and a hot water storage tank 5a which stores hot water supplied by the hot water supplying means 3 and supplies the hot water intermittently to the brew chamber 6 by a syphon effect. The percolator is composed in a way that it detects the number of times hot water is supplied intermittently from the hot water storage tank 5a to the brew chamber 6 and controls the total amount of hot water supplied which is supplied to the brew chamber 6. By this the total amount of hot water supplied can be controlled as the amount of hot water supplied at one time is known and that the amount of hot water supplied can be controlled with high precision by an inexpensive and simple sensing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
