PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice speech instrument capable of receiving and sending voice speech, wherein the volume of the received voice speech is increased in a room of an unsatisfactory acoustic condition and the generation of echoes and howlings are suppressed even when sound collecting sensitivity is high. SOLUTION: The voice speech instrument emits the received voice speech by being provided with a modulator 6 that generates a received speech signal of an ultrasonic carrier wave which is modulated by the received voice speech represented by received data fed from a communication unit 8, and an emitter 1 that emits the modulated ultrasonic wave which is generated based on the received speech signal and outputted from the modulator 6 into the air. The instrument is also provided with an acoustic filter 3 that covers the sound collecting part of a microphone 2, and a low-pass filter 5 that attenuates frequency components of ultrasonic-wave bands contained in the sending speech signal outputted from the microphone 2.
