PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a final disposal site where wastes are to be reclaimed and to provide a treating method for preventing dioxins, heavy metals and other harmful substances from flowing out of the reclaimed wastes. SOLUTION: This invention is to produce slag from wastes which are to be reclaimed in a final disposal site by a melting furnace capable of generally keeping a temperature of 1,200°C or higher and to re-use the slag for roadbed materials, admixtures for concrete and aggregates for concrete.
