<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable time correction, while suppressing power consumption caused by reception of radio waves that contain time information. <P>SOLUTION: When a receiving means 102 is put into the operation state in order to receive the radio wave, including a plurality of markers arranged on prescribed positions and time information, in the case where a marker received for the first time is a reference marker M corresponding to a correct minute's position, reception is continued as it is and the time information is acquired, and the time of a clocking means 104 is corrected and displayed on a display means 105. In the case where the marker detected for the first time is a position marker P, the receiving means 102 is put into the non-operation state. In order to receive the reference marker M appearing after a fixed time after that point of time, the receiving means 102 is put again into the operation state after 9 seconds.
