PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally simple, inexpensively manufacturable and highly reliable switchable liquid sealed type vibration control device. SOLUTION: A main liquid chamber 7 having a vibration control base body 3 forming a part of a chamber wall, and an auxiliary liquid chamber 8 having a diaphragm 5 forming a part of the chamber wall, are arranged via a partition member 4 inside the device for interposing the vibration control base body 3 between a mounting bracket 1 and a body metal fitting 2. Two orifices 11 and 21 communicating the main liquid chamber 7 with the auxiliary liquid chamber 8 and being different in a resonance frequency area, are arranged in the partition member 4. At least a part of one orifice 11 is constituted of a cylindrical member 14 having an opening part 13 for communicating with the auxiliary liquid chamber on a side surface. A piston member 15 slidable in the shaft direction is fitted to and inserted into this cylindrical member 14. The opening part 13 can be opened and closed by slidably displacing the piston member 15 in the shaft direction by a displacement applying means 17 connected to this piston member.
