PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer mattress with both satisfactory body pressure dispersion capability and body supporting capability, filling requests of more users, allowing a user to use both front and rear surfaces to select different feeling in bed according to the season and to have different feeling in bed with a single matteress. SOLUTION: The multi-layer mattress has three layers with a second core material 2 between a first core material 1 and a third core material 3. The second core material 2 has a shape with the flexibility in one direction as the bending line parallel to the cross direction. The second core material 2 is formed of a material with the highest hardness, the first core material 1 is formed of a material with the lowest hardness, and the third core material 3 is formed of a material with intermediate hardness.
