PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio frequency transceiver with small size, low cost, and low power consumption, having effective contention reducing capability, and to be adapted to a housing having dimensions within a range of small-sized shape factor. SOLUTION: The transceiver has a direct conversion receiver, a voltage-controlled oscillator, a phase locked-loop circuit, a digital control dividing circuit, and a patch antenna for performing radio communication between a computer and the other devices, each being accommodated in a small enclosure. The transceiver is to be entered to a pose mode when being in an idle state for saving electric power.
