摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery displaying stable sufficient electromotive force and capable of charging and discharging with simple constitution and to provide a power generation method. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery has a power generation part having at least an acidic medium in which a first electrode is arranged and a basic medium in which a second electrode is arranged, adjoined or approached each other, containing a reaction material in either one of the acidic medium or the basic medium, and a charging part having a reaction material regeneration means regenerating the reaction material from a power generation product produced by power generation in the power generation part. The power generation method is that the acidic medium in which the first electrode is arranged and the basic medium in which the second electrode is arranged are adjoined or approached, and oxidation reaction in the acidic medium or reduction reaction in the basic medium are conducted with the reaction material, and the reaction material is regenerated from the power generation product produced by power generation and supplied to at least one of the acidic medium and the basic medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
