PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static eliminator capable of maintaining ion generating capability even if it is not cleaned up. SOLUTION: The static eliminator is provided with an air passage 6b, a fan 7 installed in the air passage 6b, an ion generating electrode 2a installed in the air passage 6b, an electrode for electrostatic charge of mesh-shape installed in the vicinity of the ion generating electrode in the air passage 6b, and a voltage generator 1 which impresses a voltage of the same polarity on the ion generating electrode 2a and the electrode for electrostatic charge 2b.
