PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel with improved brightness and light-emitting efficiency, which can be driven at low voltage with low electric power. SOLUTION: This is the plasma display panel provided with a first plate board 111; a second plate board 121 arranged to face the first plate board 111; a first barrier rib 112 made of dielectric, arranged between the first plate board 111 and the second plate board 121, restricting a discharge cell 114 together with the first plate board 111 and the second plate board 121; a fluorescent material layer 125 arranged in the discharge cell 114; a first discharge electrode 130 arranged in the first barrier rib 112, respectively extended so as to surround the discharge cell 114; and a second discharge electrode 140 arranged in the first barrier rib 112, separated from the first discharge electrode 130 and extended so as to surround the discharge cell 114. At least one of the first discharge electrode 130 and the second discharge electrode 140 includes a discharge part surrounding every discharge cell 114 and divided and separated respectively into a plurality of pieces, and a coupling part to electrically couple between the discharge parts surrounding respectively the mutually adjacent discharge cells 114.
