PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device capable of automatically performing assignment of outer wall materials to the wall surface of a dwelling house. SOLUTION: Four-directional design drawings are inputted by a scanner, and the scale of each design drawing is set. An outer wall material to be assigned is set, the actual dimension in each design drawing is calculated, and initial assignment of true matters of the outer wall material is performed. The assignment start point of the true matters is moved, and assignment processing of true matters and cut matters is automatically performed.
