METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY CASTING STEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously casting steel by which a casting condition realizing casting using highly viscous continuous casting powder or at high casting speed is obtained from a dynamic model expression in continuous casting of steel and the steel is continuously cast using the obtained condition. SOLUTION: The method is provided for continuously casting steel by which the steel is continuously cast under the condition obtained by solving simultaneous equations of a Reynolds equation and a motion equation for solidified shell when the steel is continuously cast using the highly viscous continuous casting powder having≥10 poise or at high casting speed of≥3 m/min.
