PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable water supply for a washing machine to be used for any other purpose in a peripheral area by enabling the water supply via a water supply unit directly connected with a water supply source to the inside of a washing tub to be simply taken outside. SOLUTION: The washing machine is provided with the water supply unit consisting of communication with a water supply valve 3 and a water supply case 4 via a water supply pipe 5 and provided on a part of an exterior box 1 supporting a washing tub 2. A connection pipe 6 is protrusively provided on the front of the water supply case 4 projecting from the peripheral face of an introduction inlet 11 opening on the upper part of the tub 2. A water conveyance pipe is connected to the connection end formed of a male screw on the front end of the connection pipe 6. The washing water to be supplied into the inside of the tub 2 via the water supply case 4 is taken outside through the connection pipe 6 and the water conveyance pipe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
