摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize matching to an optimum ignition timing (maximum torque generating point) based on an intake air amount and ignition timing detected during the operation of an internal combustion engine without performing a large number of mappings and theoretical calculations and without imparting uncomfortableness to a driver. SOLUTION: This ignition timing control device of the internal combustion engine comprises a means setting at least one ignition timing in a pre-correction ignition timing and on both advance-angle side and retard-angle side of the pre-correction ignition timing where a current ignition timing is the pre-correction ignition timing and a means stopping the ignition timing correction means when a difference between the pre-correction ignition timing and an optimum ignition timing obtained by performing pre-ignition timing correction means where the ignition timing indicating the minimum intake air amount among intake air amounts at the pre-correction ignition timing, the advance-angle side ignition timing, and the retard-angle side ignition timing is the optimum ignition timing comes within a specified value beforehand or is eliminated.
