PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method of an existing concrete pole or the like reduction of strength by a storm and secular change and its reinforced existing cylindrical body. SOLUTION: The reinforcing method of the existing cylindrical body is equipped with the first step of providing a penetrating opening section lb to a predetermined height position from the ground of the existing cylindrical body 1 at need, the temporary positioning second step of inserting a plurality of reinforcing poles 4 with a predetermined length in the cylindrical body through the penetrating opening section 1b and hanging down in the vicinity of an internal wall corresponding to a part aiming at reinforcement of the cylindrical body and at a predetermined pitch position in the circumferential direction through a string-like body, the final positioning third step of arranging along the internal wall of the cylindrical body by moving the reinforcing poles 4 to the radial outside and the fourth step of injecting and solidifying a hardening fluid 15 in the cylindrical body 1 from the penetrating opening section 1b.
