SPHINGOGLYCOLIPID ANALOGUE AS NEUTRALIZER OF VERO TOXIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphingoglycolipid Gb3-ceramide analogue and a sphingoglycolipid Gb2-ceramide analogue having activities for neutralizing vero toxin. SOLUTION: The sphingoglycolipid Gb3-ceramide analogue represented by general formula [I] and the sphingoglycolipid Gb2-ceramide analogue have sugar chain-recognizing sites and lipid-recognizing sites of receptor sphingoglycolipids (Gb3-ceramide and Gb2-ceramide) of the vero toxin produced by enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, and are extremely effective for achieving antidotes of the vero toxin.
