PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit having an annular type rotation sensor, capable of detecting the number of revolutions and the rotative direction. SOLUTION: This bearing unit with the rotation sensor is provided with an outer member 1 and an inner member 2, a rolling element 3 interposed between the both members, and the rotation sensor 7. A pulser ring 9 is provided in either of the outer member 1 or the inner member 2, and magnetic yokes 8A, 8B with a coil 12 built therein are provided in the other member to be opposed to the pulser ring 9. The rotation sensor 7 is constituted of the pulser ring 9 and the magnetic yokes 8A, 8B. The rotation sensor 7 detects rotation, using, as rotation signals, generation voltages induced in the coils 12 by relative rotation between the pulser ring 9 and the magnetic yokes 8A, 8B.
