PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device capable of improving oil separation efficiency and reliability of a compressor without mounting an oil separator at a position higher than the compressor, by providing a rotor with a through hole for communicating upper and lower spaces of the rotor, mounting a centrifugal fan in the upper space of the rotor, mounting a discharge pipe at an upper part of a stator core, mounting an oil return pipe at a lower part, and connecting them by the oil separator. SOLUTION: In this refrigeration device comprising the sealed compressor 1 having a compressing part 10, a motor 11 and a refrigerant gas in a container, a discharge pipe 7 for discharging the refrigerant gas from the sealed compressor, the oil separator 2 connected to the discharge pipe and separating lubricant mixed in the refrigerant gas, and the oil return pipe 8 for connecting the sealed compressor and the oil separator, the through hole 12 for communicating the upper space and the lower space of the rotor, is formed on the rotor, the centrifugal fan 13 is mounted in the upper space of the rotor, the discharge pipe is connected to the upper part of the stator core 11A of the motor, and the oil return pipe is connected to a side face or a lower part of the stator core.
