PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device especially advantageous in temporary cooling, having excellent energy efficiency. SOLUTION: When a sound wave (voice, noise or the like) of audio frequency collected by a sound-collecting funnel 1 is put in a cold storage unit 2, compression and expansion of air filled in a pipe 3 are repeated by vibration of the sound wave to perform the cooling. Thus, because using the collected sound wave of the audio frequency, it is not necessary to provide a frequency generation source to configure the cooling device excellent from the viewpoint of the energy efficiency. Because the cooling is performed only when the sound wave of the audio frequency is collected, it is especially advantageous in the temporary cooling such as the cooling of a sound speaker in operation.
