<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which enables to significantly change the air blowing direction, thereby realizing further comfort air conditioning. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a suction port 1 and a communication port 2, a heat exchanger unit 4 in which a heat exchanger 3 is housed, a connection port 4 and a blow-out port 6 connected to the communication port 2, and an air blower unit 8 in which an air blower 7 is housed.
