<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of the electrical property by steadily contacting the contact portion of the receptacle contact of a receptacle connector to the plug contact of a plug type connector. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 1 is composed of a receptacle connector 3 having an aperture 9 at the top end face of a housing 7 and a plug type connector 5 having a plug part 13 capable of insertion into the aperture 9. A plurality of plug contacts 25 are arranged in parallel in a second direction crossing at right angles a first direction of inserting into the aperture 9 on one side or on both sides of the plug part 13. A plurality of receptacle contacts 17 having the contact portion 19 for contacting corresponding to each plug contact 25 are arranged in parallel in the second direction inside the aperture 9 of the receptacle connector 3. Slot parts 29 which make engage and contact the corresponding contact part 19 of each receptacle contact 17 are provided extended in the first direction on the surface of each of the plurality of plug contacts 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
