<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer apparatus which can prevent a burn due to erasure roller contact by preventing exposure of an erasure roller because the erasure roller for erasing a thermal paper becomes high temperatures (approximately 150-200°C) and poses the danger of the burn through contact with the erasure roller at the time of opening a sheet transfer path to clean a thermal head or at the time of removing a jamming sheet. <P>SOLUTION: An erasure roller cover and a stopper are provided. The erasure roller cover is a cover which is supported at a fulcrum disposed above the erasure roller and is formed at an oscillation end side of an oscillating part. The erasure roller cover covers the erasure roller from a paper discharge side at the time when the oscillating part is opened. When the oscillating part is closed, the stopper regulates the erasure roller cover not to oscillate up to the transfer path. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
