<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric porcelain material excellent in characteristics such as electromechanical coupling coefficient, mechanical quality coefficient, etc., and capable of sintering at a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This piezoelectric porcelain material is represented by the composition formula: (Pb<SB>x</SB>E<SB>y</SB>)[(Mn<SB>1/3</SB>Sb<SB>2/3</SB>)<SB>a</SB>Ti<SB>b</SB>Zr<SB>c</SB>]O<SB>3</SB>+d mol% BaCu<SB>1/2</SB>W<SB>1/2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>+e wt% CuO (wherein E is at least one of Ca, Sr, and Ba), and its range of composition is 0.95≤x+y≤1.05, and 0≤y≤0.20, and a+b+c=1, and it comprises a main component which is within the range (including the lines) surrounded by the lines bonding the composition points I-J-K-L-M-N, BaCu<SB>1/2</SB>W<SB>1/2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>which is added in the range of 0<d≤4.0 to one mole of the main component, and CuO added in the range of 0<e≤1 (wt%).
